A study of the fundamentals of the Hebrew language with particular emphasis on its use in the original writing of the Old Testament. REQUIRED FOR M.DIV. – Two Credit Hours
OT1512 BEGINNING HEBREW II
Further study in the above along with reading some simple narrative portions of Genesis. PREREQUISITE: OT1511 REQUIRED FOR M.DIV. – Two Credit Hours
OT1526 OLD TESTAMENT HISTORY & THEOLOGY
A study of the formation of the canon, of textual criticism, of Israelite history, and an evaluation of critical scholarship. The Christ-centered interpretation of the Old Testament taking into consideration the organic, progressive structure of biblical theology. REQUIRED FOR M.DIV., M.A.B.S., M.A.M., M.A.B.C., M.A.A.- Two Credit Hours
OT1623 ADVANCED HEBREW I
Extensive course in reading, with review of grammar and attention to greater accuracy in exegesis of the Old Testament. PREREQUISITE: OT1511, OT1512 REQUIRED FOR M.DIV. – Two Credit Hours
